Our Mission
Work towards building a healthy community, collaboratively with social partners and participants from all neighborhoods of Aruba, with a special focus on the residents of Dakota and Tarabana.
Our vision
Serve as a central meeting place for all residents of the neighborhoods Dakota, Potrero, Tarabana and their surroundings, where they can socialize, engage in sports, and recreate in a healthy environment.
Main Goal
The main goal of the CBDD is to promote the mental, social, and physical development of the residents of Dakota, Tarabana and their surroundings.
Sub-goals
• Provide support and development opportunities to all age groups in the neighborhood: preschoolers, young children, young people, (young) parents, adults, people over 60, and everyone in between.
• Ensure that parents and educators are equipped with the tools to properly educate and guide their children.
• Establish and maintain the Dakota community center
• Organize and/or stimulate youth work, community building, community work and family social work.
• promote good cooperation between social parties and among the various clubs and organizations that use the community center.
• Participate and collaborate with organizations that share similar objectives.
• Explore other lawful means conducive to this purpose.

Target Audience
Everyone from Dakota, Potrero, Tarabana, and surrounding areas, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, education level or social status. The focus is on the most vulnerable groups, namely the youth and the seniors.
